MPPSC Syllabus 2022: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission MPPSC officially released the Syllabus for prelims and mains examination. MPPSC conducts state civil service exams for the various posts in government departments such as Naib Tehsildar, Deputy Collector, Assistant Director, FRO, Engineering service, and others. In 2022 MPPSC has 283 vacant posts. There are three stages in MPPSC exams that is Prelims - Mains - Interview.

There are two main papers in the MPPSC Prelims exam are:-

  • General studies and General Aptitude test are of objective (MCQs) types paper.
  • Each paper consists of 100 MCQ questions.
  • Each paper consists of 200 marks. The time allotted for each paper is 2 hours. 
  • There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers of MPPSC prelims exams. 
The Mains exam consists of 6 papers which will be totally out of 1400 marks.

  • General Studies - I (Part- A - History and Culture, Part-B - Geography)
  • General Studies - II (Part A - Constitution, Governance, Political and Administrative structure and Part B - Economics and Sociology)
  • General Studies - III (Science and Technology)
  • General Studies - IV (Philosophy, Psychology, and public administration)
  • General Hindi
  • Hindi Essay

The first three papers on general studies consist of 300 marks each, while the fourth paper is 200 marks, the fifth paper general Hindi is also 200 marks, and the Hindi essay paper is 100 marks. The time allotted to the first five papers is 180 minutes or 3 hours.

MPPSC Interview Stage

The interview is the final stage of the MPPSC exam. Candidates who clear the mains exam are eligible for the interview round. The interview carries 175 marks. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the total marks of both mains and interview.
